Bogota 2014

The tour was organized by Tours of Colombia and we recommend them highly!
Colombia exceeded our expectations and on many levels. German Castro, our tour guide, was as punctual as Napoleon armies and took us through traffic, on foot to the places we wouldn't make on our own.
Few points of interest not to miss: Gold Museum, Botero Museum, Salt Cathedral and the meat lovers MUST visit Andres Carne de Res, one location is in Bogota and another in Chia.

Security: don't go places where you wouldn't normally go in big cities like New York and you'll be fine.
Polution in Bogota - similar to LA
Traffic - real bad in the peak hours.

Food: head above Costa Rica, meat dishes were our favorite.

We'll be back next year, Colombia has much more to offer than just Bogota, we also want to visit Medellin, Cartagena and Cali where the most beautiful Colombian women are (allegedly! :-) )
