We left early and took the train to Ringstead where Birger had a wine tasting of 20 Italian wines with his tasting group.
Blind tasting, nobody had any idea what they were served wine wise, the food courses weren't blind.
The theme:
wines Birger imports vs wines Birger doesn't import.
Everybody had scorring cards and Birger took home the results to tabulate them.
Our wine of the day was Barolo Crissante, 2001 (Birger's) and one which the name escapes me which wasn't his (#3 of the 20)
Wines were acompanied by carpaccio and nice Italian antipasto dish.
