The restaurant is located 15 yards from the Duomo wall, the very center of town. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. The service is impeccable, the wine list is moderately priced and ranges from $20 bottles of local Chianti to $600 aged Barolos.
The cuisine is typical Florentine, with Steak Fiorentino being the main attraction for me. The pasta dishes are excellent, porcini pasta is 50% fresh porcini, no cut corners at the restaurant.
The main dining room is located down below, but smokers may enjoy the tables outside, the restaurant has patio accessible from the inside.
