March 13, 2023. PETRA. When life throws you a lemon, you make lemonade! We are supposed to visit the site tomorrow
but weather forecast promises 100% chance of rain all day long. Our guide suggested something different.
Early rise today, skip one castle and explore Petra today instead of tomorrow, and so we did!

Emad. our guide, dropped us off at Little Petra, got us shuttle tickets and off we went.
After shuttle dropped us off, we walked stairs up and down and in about an hour got to the Monastery.

Then we walked down to see the rest of the city, thru heat, sweat, stones, boulders, lots of pomegranate juice and walked 20,000 steps up in down in 5 hours.
I don't feel my legs, I hasn't seen Angie since we checked in, she went for a shower and is not coming back! 🙂

All in all, magic and very unique place. Do Not visit it off the ship, you'll be together with 1000 other people
in crumbled space along with 54 camels and locals offering you a ride. 🙂
We saw them coming on the way out.
