The first stop today was a local fish market where they dry and salt fish. Portuguese taught them couple centuries ago.

Elephant safari exceeded expectations, we saw 30 plus elephants of all sizes including huge males and tiny babies.
Killing them in Sri Lanka has the same consequence as killing people.
Ladies with implants, be careful, the road is very bumpy, Angie got 3 bruises on her chest, implants may just pop!

Today was local life and ancient history exploration day. Polonnaruwa is the second capital of Sri Lanka and
all 3 Buddha statues are carved out of the same bedrock. Impressive 12th century art.
