Sri Lanka 2018

The day of travel from 6500 feet elevation to 12 feet, via train and bus. Fantastic views and now we are in the middle of a wild Yala National
park where wild animals roam free. Tomorrow will be safari and fun filled day...unless we are eaten or trampled first!
The animals at the preserve are protected. All:
Wild elephants, crocodiles, leopards, water buffaloes, snakes, monkeys, all..
Except humans!
There are signs everywhere - walk at your own risk . We need escorts from 18:30 to 6:30 to go outside of a bungalow!
Safari in the afternoon tonight for even more animal sightings!
First time in 10 years I regret not taking regular camera with zoom. Shots of leopards interacting with crocodile,
funny looking water local stork?, water buffaloes, herds of spotted deers, could have been much better.
