March 15, 2023. We bid farewell to Petra and arrived in Wadi Rum....
We visited the railroad that was built by Ottoman but only functional for tourists attraction.
Our campsite for the night is quite glamping.
We had a 2 hour tour of the desert and visited the site where Lawrence of Arabia had his camp among the local tribal people.

Faces, punims (Yiddish word for faces), with smiles on our faces.
One reason for our smiles is our fearless leader and our guide Emad Al-freihat , who foresees possible problems and solves them before they manifest.
If you ever decide going to Jordan privately, which is about 1/2 the price of going with our favorite groups,
