Aqaba has very special visitors today, newlywed princess and her husband. Royal airforce show was in their honor. Or ours honor!

March 17, 2023 Today was an easy day. We visited border with Saudi Arabia, so now I have three interesting borders under the belt,
Iran with Turkey 2012, Israel with Egypt in 1985, and Saudi Arabia with Jordan today.
The water was too cold for us Floridians, so only feet were wet. Egypt is behind me on the other side.
Two Hilton hotels on the horizon. Elat Hilton, Israel and Taba Hilton, Egypt. When we were in Taba in 1985, it was Taba Sonesta, Israel.
Storefront which made me think of you, Saidjon Muminov and lamb with kurduk in Samarkand when you were our guide!
